Terms of service

Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms apply to the Sticky Notes browser extension and the website sticky.peerpulse.dev (together, the “service”). The service is provided by an individual developer under the brand Peerpulse (“we”, “us”). We are a private person, not a company.
By installing the extension or using the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The free extension and Pro
The extension is free. The free version keeps up to 5 notes and needs no account.
Pro is a paid plan. Today it gives unlimited notes (up to 10,000) and real-time cloud sync across your devices. Search and sharing of notes are planned for Pro; we give no dates and no promise that they will be released.
Your account
An account is needed only for Pro. You sign in with Google. One account is for one person: do not share it and do not sell access to it.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else is using it.
You can delete your account at any time, as described in the privacy policy. Deleting it ends your Pro access; refunds follow the refund policy.
Prices and payments
Prices are in US dollars: $4 per month, $36 per year and $89 for lifetime. The price shown when you buy is the price you pay. Prices may change for later purchases.
Taxes, such as VAT or sales tax, may be added at checkout by the payment provider, depending on where you are.
Cryptocurrency payments are processed by NOWPayments. They are available for the year and lifetime offers. You pay in the coin and network you choose and you cover the network fee.
When we add card payments, they will be processed by a payment provider that acts as reseller and merchant of record. That provider is then the seller of record: it charges you, collects taxes, issues the receipt and handles your card data. We never see your card number. The provider’s own terms apply to that payment. The monthly plan is available only with card payments.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
A card subscription (monthly or yearly) renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, through the link in your receipt or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
Cryptocurrency payments are prepaid for the period (a year) and do not renew automatically. The extension reminds you a week before Pro ends; to continue, you pay again.
A period you buy while you still have Pro starts after the current one. Lifetime does not credit the time left on a running period.
Lifetime means Pro for as long as the service operates. It is not tied to a number of years or to your lifetime. See “Changes and availability of the service”.
Refunds
Our refund policy applies. In short: you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase of a plan.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- store or share unlawful content, or content that infringes the rights of others;
- harass, defraud or spam anyone, including through the support form;
- break, overload, probe or bypass the service, its limits or its payment checks;
- create accounts by automated means;
- resell or share paid access.
We may limit or end the access of anyone who breaks these rules.
Your content
Your notes stay yours. We claim no rights to them.
You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your notes and send them to your devices when you use cloud sync. We store them only for that, as described in the privacy policy.
You are responsible for your notes and for having the right to keep them. Keep your own copy of anything important.
Changes and availability of the service
We try to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. It is provided “as is”.
We may change the service, including its features and limits, or discontinue it. If we discontinue Pro or the whole service, we will give notice on the website and in the extension, as early as we can. Every device keeps its own copy of your notes, so they stay in the extension after cloud sync ends. For a period you have paid for and not used, we refund the unused part.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or abuse the service. If we end your access for another reason, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.
The free extension keeps working on your device after your access ends.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Montenegro. Disputes are decided by the competent courts of Montenegro, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems can be solved.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. For a material change we will also tell you in the extension or on the website. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can stop and delete your account.
