What this policy covers
This policy covers the Sticky Notes browser extension and its website sticky.peerpulse.dev, including the support form.
Data the extension handles
The extension stores only what you create:
- note text and checklist items;
- note appearance: color, size, position on the page, pinned state;
- the address of the page a note belongs to (domain and path, without query parameters) and that page’s title.
The extension does not read page content, does not track browsing history and collects nothing about pages without notes.
Where the extension keeps data
Notes are saved in Chrome’s built-in storage on your device (chrome.storage.local) and copied to chrome.storage.sync while they fit its quota. If Chrome Sync is turned on, Google syncs this data across your devices under Google’s terms. The developer has no access to this data.
The extension does not send notes to the developer’s or any third-party servers.
Support requests
When you send a request through the support form, we receive:
- your email address;
- the topic and text of your message;
- the extension version, if you opened the form from the extension;
- your browser’s name and version (user agent), to help find the cause of a problem.
We use this only to answer you and to fix problems in the extension. Requests are stored with Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and are deleted automatically 12 months after they are sent, or earlier at your request.
Spam protection and technical logs
The support form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical data about your browser and device to tell people from bots, under the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Like any website, the server receives your IP address and browser details when you open a page. Cloudflare keeps these request logs for up to 7 days for security and troubleshooting.
The website sets no cookies and shows no ads. To count visits and measure page speed, it uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track you across sites.
Sharing
We do not sell or transfer your data and do not use it for advertising, creditworthiness or lending purposes. Data is shared only with the providers named above, only to run the service.
Deleting your data
Delete a note with its “×” button. Uninstalling the extension removes all of its data from the browser.
To get a copy of your support requests or have them deleted, write to support or to support@peerpulse.dev.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
